Posts stay in carousel even when "featured" tag is removed.

  Even when I remove the “featured” tag from a post and update it to remove it from the carousel at the top of the page (I’m using the Twenty Fourteen theme), it stays in the carousel. I’ve tried refreshing my browser, opening in a different browser, clearing the cache, etc., etc., etc., but it STILL shows up. Anybody else had this problem?

  Aaaaaand I fixed it … sort of. When I switched to classic mode and removed the “featured” tag from a post, it worked fine, so it appears this problem only occurs when I’m using the new editor.
