  I started my blog last week and was wondering why my posts have not shown up in the wordpress explore sections. I’ve only used a few tags per post. When I was reading the wp page about tags it mentioned that if the site is too new it might be delayed appearing. How long would it take for my site to start appearing??

  It may take a few more days for your blog posts to start showing in the topics page. As mentioned in the support page:

  Brand new blogs might not have enough posts for us to accurately determine whether or not they’re spam.

  I would post a bit more on top of the two posts you already published. Really hard to give an ETA at this point, but I’ll help you keep an eye on your posts in the coming days.

  I have had my blog for over a year now and was going well with achieving increased traffic, until a month or so ago. Everything stopped. I am thinking something is wrong here, as I kept posting and ensuring there are not more than 15 categories and tags per post, but still it does not appear in the reader when I post. I have searched the forums and noted that some people have this problem at times. I have tried to reduce categories in the categories edit, but this gives me a message: ” categories can not be updated” What am I doing wrong here? Is there a reason my blog is bumped from the reader? Thanks for any assistance. I have never had a problem before and think the wordpress site is fantastic, and do a great job maintaining the blog platform, and I tell all and sundry to try wordpress. But I can’t understand what has happened here? Any assistance would be appreciated.

  yeah, mine was still not showing up either and then WP suspended it because it got caught by the machines in some anti-spam automaton. I just write about movies! I’m a little exhausted by WP these days and I hope this reader issue is resolved soon.
