Posts that go under pages
-
How do I make a post go under a specific page?
For example, I have 4 pages on my blog: food, drinks, fitness and personal. When I write a post, how can I make the post appear on one of these pages only? (Ie. If I write a post on a restaurant, I want it to only appear on the food page, not the home page or any of my other pages). Right now when I write a post, even if I categorize it as of of my pages, I cant visually find it anywhere. The only way I can see it is if I go back to “my posts” and look at it there.
In my mind, the URL should read: citygirlpr.wordpress.com/food/restaurantname. However, when I write posts now they have their own unique URL like this: citygirlpr.wordpress.com/restaurantname. I am so confused!!! help! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot post to a page. Pages cannot be categorized. They don’t have dates. They are static, and meant for information that doesn’t change, such as an about page, a lexicon, a set of links.
You have only one dynamic page per blog: that page is dynamic because it changes every time you publish a post. Posts can be categorized. And they have dates.
You can link to a category. For example, if you assigned some published posts to the category “drinks” this link would work:
http://citygirlpr.wordpress.com/category/drinks/So you can use that linkability to make a custom menu where the tabs on the menu link to your category “pages”.
