Post's Titles not showing

    Hi team,

    Is there any chance you can guide me? The layout is activated, although any of the post’s title is shown.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Please make sure that posts are not set to be an “aside” post format.

    “Asides” will not display a title.

    Post Formats

    I recommend setting them to “standard” instead.

    I tried to start a travel blog tonight and remembered why I abandoned 2 other WordPress blogs…I’ve been doing word processing/DTP since the late 70s and been online since 94 and your interface never ceases to make me tear my hair.
    HERE IS THE ISSUE!
    My site title is SUPPOSED TO BE “Into The West.”
    Instead, the site title is SITE TITLE.
    How do I edit it?
    I’ve spent 50 minutes now just trying to find out how to get help. This is ridiculous!

    The URL is intothewestsite.wordpress.com. I tried to start another one and the *same thing* happened–that one ended up intothewestweb.wordpress.com.

    Thanks Gary. Now how can I remove the stock photo that came with the theme and replace it with one of my own?

    Fine, I figured out on my own how to get rid of the photo but can’t get rid of the stupid text that says “here is an excerpt BLAHBLAHBLAH” instead of the text I put in.

    Also have tried half a dozen times to load photos. When I ‘view’ they are there. Then I go into the site from outside…photo is gone. Not sure why I should continue having my time eaten up for nothing, when I can make a post on FB with photos in 2 minutes and the photos STAY THERE. In an hour I’ve been unable to get two photos to go in AND STAY THERE. I switched to the app which is a little easier, but I had this problem with my last blog which was about a novel I’m writing and I needed to post a lot of photos THAT DID NOT SHOW UP NO MATTER WHAT I DID.

    That time I actually paid a guy $50 to try to show me how to work the text editor…worked fine at the cafe and I got home and ran into the same issue but was 50 bucks poorer. I’m not stupid, I’ve been word processing since 1977 and have a genius IQ. On the other hand I’m an Apple person for decades and while Windows users are accustomed to crap that doesn’t work I am not.

    That is an excerpt from the default starter content. To edit or delete it from that post, please see:
