Posts to appear as a summary

    In my blog I can’t seem to get my posts to appear as a summary instead of the full post. I changed a reading setting so that every article in a feed appeared as a summary, but this has not changed the posts. Could you please help

    Hi there,

    I just checked your blog in the WordPress.com Reader here: https://wordpress.com/read/blog/id/64598411

    When I click on the post titles, I see just the post summary, not the full post. Just to clarify, that setting will only change your blog’s feed (for example, what shows in the Reader or in email notifications when someone subscribes to your blog) and not what appears on the front page of your blog. We have more information about those settings here: Reading Settings

    If you’d like to limit the text that appears on the front page of your blog, you can use the More Tag for that. That way, visitors will have to click through to read everything in the post below that tag.
