  This is so frustrating in that I don’t understand the jargon and technical aspects of what has happened. When I post my blog, I want to share it on my personal page and share it under my personal identity. Have I got a setting wrong or is there something here that I don’t understand. (Incidentally, the blog will only post to one of my group pages and share as the group name)

  I understand your frustration and think I’ll be able to provide some insight that is useful.

  Back in August, Facebook made some changes on their end that affected how they integrated with WordPress.com. Because of those changes, it is no longer possible to set up your Publicize connection on WordPress.com with a personal Facebook profile – it will only work with a Facebook page.

  You can set up a work around through using IFTTT. This isn’t ideal but it will do the trick.
