Posts to Pages

    Hi, i am new to WordPress and hoping someone can help. When i create a post it goes straight to the homepage however, i would like to to appear on a certain page. I’ve googled and looked at the settings and still cant find out how to do this can anyone help please?

    Hi there @jocheshotmailcom, sure we can help.

    By default, all posts will go to the posts page. So if your home page is set to posts, as it is in your case, they’ll always show up there. But you can do a few things:

    – Add categories to your posts, and link to those posts from your menu bar (we have a host to here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/ )

    – Change your front page to Static, so it’s more like your theme was designed. That way the home page would stay more or less the same, unless you wanted to put excerpts of the latest posts there somewhere. We have a full guide for your theme here: https://wordpress.com/theme/dara
