Posts to Pages?
-
I was wondering how I stick my posts to certain pages or if that was even an option? I want categories along the top of my page and I want to be able to post my posts to those categories but I’m not getting how to do this. Please help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s easy.
First of all, when you’re writing these posts, decide what Category you want to put them in, then use that category.
Then, use a Custom Menu to put links to the category pages in your header. Like, if I wanted to link to http://raincoaster.com/category/wikileaks I would put that link in the Custom Menu. From then on, all your posts in that category go in that page as well as the main blog page.
There’s no way to prevent them from showing in the main blog page, though. But you can set the opening page of your blog as a Static page if you want.

Okay I’m very new to wordpress so I guess I’m not getting where to create the Custom Menu at. Does that go on the sidebar or is that part of the drop downs at the top?

Okay something isn’t working right. I’ve added my custom menu then a Recipe page then a Recipe Category but my butterfingers recipe post is not showing up on that page when I click it in my drop down menu. I’ve even moved it as a sub post in the menu section.

http://christahobart.wordpress.com/my-90-day-challange/recipes/ is not the category page for Recipes. The category page for recipes is http://christahobart.wordpress.com/category/recipes/
You don’t need to create a Recipes page at all. It automatically is created as soon as you use the category on a post. You just need to put the right link in the header.
