I’d like to add a button allowing my foreign followers to get an on-line translation of the posts. One furher question: should I decide to change the appearance do I get a temporary view of the blog appearance before I decide whether to change it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We don’t have a translation widget of some sort, but you can use third party applications to translate your entire site. One of our longtime volunteers created a guide on this here:

Yes, you can preview a theme on your site by going to Appearance > Themes in your Dashboard. Hover over a theme and click on Preview. Please note that the preview may not look exactly like the Demo. Most likely you will have to add some customizations, but the Preview will give you an idea of what it will look like.

Thank you for your message. It might be that I’m not so expert but what I’d like to do is to insert the code you suggest for the translation
somewhere in the post body (i.e. at the end) . Widgets at the posts top are very often overlooked. I tried to insert the code in the body but wordpress removes part of it. Please notice that my blog has not a private site. Regards

Follow up. I tried to define a new widget copying your suggested text and straightening the quotes but this is what I get
WordPress removes the most important part of the statement (.src=”http://free-website-translation.com/img/fwt_button_en.gif” alt=”Website Translation Widget”). In the widget area I see the translation name but no button . Regards

Thank you for your suggestion which works. I have however substituted ” http://free-website-translation.com ” with “https://translate.google.co.in ” for a more direct access to the service. Nonetheless I wonder whether a site/service exists for the automatic selection and translation of a post like that of google blogspot. Regards
