Posts under Pages and Home Page showing all posts from all pages

  Hi All,

  Is it possible to have posts under different pages? And then is it possible for the Home Page to show all posts from all pages?

  First, you should understand that posts and pages are very different from each other. For maximum SEO, you should use posts:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
  Then use categories to organize your posts:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
  Choosing a category in your sidebar will bring up a dynamic page with all the posts you have made in that category.
  You can have an index of posts on your Home page (or on another “index” page) by using the archive shortcode:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/archives-shortcode/
  If you use that on your home page, and want your readers to see that first, then you will have to make your home-page static and use another page for your posts:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

  Thanks for taking the time to reply to me. The article http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/06/30/posts-on-pages/ has answered my question (and in fact expressed with wordpress terms what I had in mind ): “what they actually have in mind is how to make the top navigation menu (header tabs) link to category pages instead of static pages”.
