posts' urls within the blog when upgrading to domain
-
My blog is electrodes.wordpress.com. Two simple questions :
a) In the future, I intend to activate my upgrade option to a domain name.
I made many url links **within my blog** (post-to-post within electrodes.wordpress.com).
I want to know whether these posts-to-posts links will be upgraded to the new domain name and will remain effective.
Second question :
b) There is an option to delete blogs. There are some useless blogs I created under the same account under which I created electrodes.wordpress.com
for instance there are blogs like http://lucaslucassinclair.wordpress.com/ etc. ,
I want to be sure about the following : If I delete a blog created under the same account , will the other blogs remain ? Or will they be deleted too ? Is there a danger ?
Thanks :)

Hi there,
If you upgrade to add a domain to your blog, anyone who visits electrodes.wordpress.com (or any page or post within electrodes.wordpress.com) will be forwarded to the domain version of that site. So if you were to buy electrodes.com (which I’m sure isn’t available, but as an example), and I were to try to go to your old page:
http://electrodes.wordpress.com/about
Then I would be automatically forwarded to:
So any links you already have will not need to be updated. Visitors will be taken to the correct URL anyway!
In regards to deletion of blogs, each are separate. As long as you are careful about which blogs you are deactivating, you will not take out any blogs which you don’t mean to (there are several steps required, including having to click a link which is sent to your email), and deleting one blog deletes only that blog. It does not delete any others.
