  posts from the past five months have vanished, and can no longer be found

  Are they on the dashboard under Posts?

  no they’re not listed on the dashboard either

  In recent comments it lists one of the vanished posts, but when I click on the link, it says that post doesn’t exist

  We they some of the missing ones?

  thanks for all the help – it looks like one of the other admins accidentally deleted some posts when she went and cleaned up what she thought were drafts, so all is working again.

  The old “clean things up” will get you every time

  Look in the trash for the deleted Posts. if they did not clear the trash the deleted posts should still be there
