posts within pages

  I am working with the Sela theme and I am struggling to find a way to make different headings (on the theme example it has “Home,” “Blog,” Testimonials” across the top) have multiple posts within them. I’m able to make the separate pages I want but it only allows one post within those pages. The Sela example provided shows multiple posts within each category. What am I doing wrong?

  Hi emnh33

  You first need to create different categories for which you need to make the posts. Here is the support document that will help you out in making the category:

  Once the categories are made then assign the particular category to the post and update that post.

  Now when you are done with the post then we can add a category item to the menu, here is the support document that will help you out add category to the menu:

  Hi there,
  I have the exact same problem with Sela and cannot see how assigning categories to posts (which I have done) and then creating a menu (where would this be desplayed I can’t see an option for individual pages?) will change that. I have two pages that should display the corresponding posts (with the correct category) just as the Sela sample “Blog” page but they just won’t. The posts just sit on the preset “Blog” page which I don’t use. I would image that you can just assign a post to a page.
  I love the layout of the Sela design, but if I have to create a page for every single post to be displayed as grid on the parent page then I might have to switch designs.

  Hi are you able to help me with this same question? I have a section in my main menu called “blog” and then two child menus under blog called “travel” and “health and well being.” I would like to have my blog posts all appear on my blog when that is clicked, but then I would like for my specific travel blogs to be posted on to the travel page as well as my specific blogs for health and well being to be posted on that page when clicked on. i tried the categories thing and the blog posts don’t appear on those sections when clicked on.
