Posts won't go to categories

I cannot, for the life of me, get my post to show up under the category. It shows up on the home page, but not under the category I assigned it to. I made the category and assigned it to the menu as a category. I even go into the post and there’s a hyperlink to the category, I click on it and it sends me to the category “page” with “Not Found”. I don’t see how that’s possible. I use the same theme (Mantra) on another site that I have and have never had a problem with any posts showing up. Please help!
