Posts Won't Show Up In WordPress Reader
-
Hi WordPress,
My posts that I’m reposting are not showing up in the WordPress Reader for some reason and I need you guys to help me fix it. I haven’t had a problem with it ever since I’ve started my blog, and today it just started. I’m using less or equal to 15 tags & categories and using relevant tags (the same tags that I’ve been using ever since I’ve started this blog.) Hope to hear from you guys soon! Thank you!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
What do you mean by reposting?
If you are editing old post, changing the date and then republishing, then this isn’t a mistake. The Reader will only show a post at the time it was first published. Republishing a post will not change its position in the Reader feed. This is how the Reader was designed to work.
Republishing a post also changes the post’s permalink, meaning all old links where you’ve previously shared that post will stop working.
If you want to feature an old post, the better way is to create a new post linking back to the old post, or you can use the Reblog button to reblog your own posts on your own site as that will also create a new post linking back to the original:

Yeah, I know all that. Thank you. What I mean by reposting is taking an old post that I had already posted once to show up in the WordPress Reader, and then reposting it again (Because I add on more writing to that blog post) the following week so it can show up again in the WordPress Reader. (I also repost some of my content to give me extra time to write new ones.)
And I mean, it’s been working just fine ever since I started my blog, but today my posts that I’ve reposted to show up in the WordPress Reader tags isn’t showing up anymore. And like I said, I’m using 15 or less total tags & categories, tagging my posts with the right tags and just been rescheduling them like I have been, except now they don’t show up in any of the WordPress Reader tags. Thank you!

Please read what I wrote above.
What you are doing won’t work. Changing the date on a post and republishing it at a different date won’t make that post show up in the Reader again and won’t push it to the top of tag listings.
It might have worked that way in the past, but it doesn’t anymore. We changed that, due to people abusing the Reader to always show their posts first in followers’ feeds.

Okay, got it! So I’m not blocked or anything?… It’s just that my Old post won’t show up in the tags of the WordPress Reader, but new ones will? Thank you!

Your site is not blocked, no. New sites should appear in tag listings, as long as you don’t use too many categories and tags in one post. Try to use only the ones that are absolutely relevant to your content. The 15-limitation is not a target. I seldom use more that 5 tags total on my own site, and do not lack in traffic for it in any way.
