Post/Writing/Editing

Whenever I try to make a post, the line break would disappear. It would appear like I how I wrote it on the category selected, such as ‘Contact’ or ‘Design’. But on the home page, everything would appear to be one continuous paragraph and I can’t seem to fix it no matter what I do. Please help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Currently there is no content on your homepage. So I can’t see anything on it.
This support guide tells you how to add extra line breaks: https://en.support.wordpress.com/advanced-html/#extra-line-breaks

staff-happychia I’ve just made a post. I basically post exactly what’s under the “Contact” tab. But on the home page it doesn’t appear like how I would want it to look (like the one under Contact).

Could you add the following in the Text Editor of the page you set as Front Page and see if the result is what you want:
EMAIL: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
FACEBOOK:Le Papillon Noir
For any other questions or comments, please leave a reply. xoxo, Linda -
staff-happychia I’ve tried and it doesn’t work. I’m pretty sure it’s the template/layout that I use. I can just use another one I guess. But thank you so much for trying to help :)

Ah, your front page is set to display your latest posts and you have only one post.
So go to the edit post screen of your only post and add the above text in the Text Editor. I just included line breaks in between your existing text.

Hi Linda
Try using Pages rather than Posts for your About, Design and Contact pages.
You can then select one of the pages to display as a static home page.

@g471n Sorry I’m not really familiar with these things so I’m not sure what you meant by static page? Also, I want all of my post to shown on the home page, but I also want them to show up under the category that they belong since I plan on posting pictures of fashion shows, or outfit of the day type of things… Could you help clarify that for me please, and thank you.

Have a look at this page detailing the differences between Pages and Posts.
By using a Post category on the home page the theme is only showing a preview with the formatting stripped out.

I would suggest using Pages for things like ‘About’ and ‘Contact’ … basically pages that will contain static information.
-
You have to choose between a static home page displaying one of your page or a home page displaying previews of your blog posts.

-
Even if you choose to have a dynamic home page displaying your latest posts I would still suggest that you use Pages for your About and Contact pages.
