Potential WordAds Dangerous Redirect

My problem ads were exactly the same as the woolie weekly’s screenshot. Also getting something for Cyxtera in the top banner image which looks suspicious but is not disabling the site in the same way.

Just to update that the content of the banner ad keeps changing, but seems suspicious as it is right across my headline picture with a drop down minus sign at the bottom of it. I can’t screenshot it as I can only generate the issues by viewing my site in incognito mode from Android.

The one that shows up on my site is also for Asda vouchers.
It seems to have stopped happening for now, but I checked it on several devices. iphone & android.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Whenever I or anyone visit my website on iPhone it redirects to some dodgy website which doesn’t let anyone to access my website. This is happening only on iPhones. iPads and computers are ok.

I have taken screenshots of this website but don’t know how I can send it to you. This dodgy website address is 2365478.com and when you tap on back arrow to go on last page it shows the website address ” nationalconsumerscenter.co.uk. These both websites are about wining some ASDA Gift Card.

Can you please fix this problem

Hi, this just happened to me as well, but it has stopped now. it forwarded to 2365478.com, my website is hollysbreathingspace.wordpress.com
The same as toanothermagnet reported. only happened on mobile devices, and didn’t happen if the mobile device requested the desktop site.

Hi,

I submitted an issue few minutes ago. These two dodgy websites pops up over my website on iPhones when anyone visit my website. This dodgy website don’t let us access to my website.

When you go to my website, after my website loaded, it redirects to these dodgy websites which is about winning some ASDA Gift cards.

@mega901 Sadly, it doesn’t seem to have been solved yet. A staff member from WordPress.com will likely address this thread and the issues mentioned in it soon though, so until then, we just need to be patient.

– The time of the most recent issue
– The device IP address ( can be found by visiting whatismyip.com from the device )
– The URL you tried to visit
– The one you ended up at

@supernovia Would the advert which redirected to exclusiverewards62.online also be stopped now, or is it just a few specific ones?

My one which was Asda gift vouchers also stopped. I will check it again in the afternoon. It used to start in the morning, stays all day then stops at night.

I am not getting the Asda vouchers one this morning, but am still getting the ad that drops down across my headline image. It varies which page it appears on. I would be grateful if someone would sort this for me as I am pretty sure that there shouldn’t be any advertising there. Blog is lizzierunning.wordpress.com

The redirect page isn’t there, but the same kind of dropdown ad across the top that @lizzierunning mentioned is present on my site. I hope this can be fixed, because ads like that cheapen the look of the site.

Hi. The redirect ad seems to have gone for now, but I am now having trouble with a banner ad that is dropping down at the top of my site on some pages. I don’t want to click on it as I am concerned that it is some form of malware. I can only trigger it by browsing incognito, so having trouble getting a screenshot.
