Potentially Malicious Popup

  I am using the free version of WordPress, and my site is hosted on the WordPress domain. When an iOS user visits my homepage, they see a popup that fills their screen and says either ‘Apple iPhone Update…’ or ‘Your phone is infected by viruses…’ I say popup, but the site shown in the URL field is, respectively, xenabunt.info and mobiledevsafety.com. So my site visitors are being redirected to these other sites. I do not provide the ads, WordPress does, on my site. Has anyone else seen this behavior? If so, do you know what’s going on? Thanks!

  Staff are aware of the issue and the spam ads are not coming from WordPressdotcom.

  I also suggest that you install an antivirus app on your phone if you don’t already have one.
