Pre-sale questions to possible setup and technical limitations

    I plan the following setup and interesting in whether wordpress.com Business Plan fits requirements and/or has known issues:

    I have a remote, non-WP MySQL, which is located on a VM behind VPN.

    On wordpress.com I plan to have a Business Plan site, using wpDataTables.

    There are two ways to use wpdataTables with my remote db:

    • to establish remote DB connection, knowing an IP of the wordpress.com site, to whitelist it in the remote VPN,
    • to automatically sync remote DB tables with those in wordpress.com environment.

    But I currently don’t know, what works with wordpress.com.

    There are some technical questions:

    • Is the IP of my wordpress.com site known? If yes, is it static?
    • Do sync plugins work in wordpress.com Business Plan environment?
    • Do SSH and WP-CLI work in wordpress.com Business Plan environment?
    • Are there any other technical limitations, which prevent this kind of setup?
