Predating posts

  I want to add several posts with content written before the beginning of my blog. I also want to date the posts with their originally-written dates. Lastly, I do NOT want these posts to fly out to subscribers or FB or Linked readers. How can this be done? Thanks.

  You can set the visibility of your blog temporarily to private and add the posts in question dating them as you choose. By doing that they will not be sent out on your RSS feed to your subscribers. When you have completed that you can change the privacy setting back to public.
