To whom it may concern,
Defamation via libel is being used by predatoralert.us on Melissa Lucas LLeras. A website created by WordPress. We’ve asked the person that put it up to take it down, I’ve contacted the website, and the next step is to obtain a court order. Please advise if you can help get her off the website. Here is the url,

https://predatoralert.us/ was not created by WordPress. WordPress is just the name of the software used to make that site. (In exactly the same way a document written in MS Word on someone’s private computer is not written by Microsoft. It’s just Microsoft’s software that was used to create the document).
The forum you’re posting in now is for WordPress.com, one of many hosting providers for that software. This means anyone can create an account with us and use that software to build a website, and only the individual person who made the website is responsible for the content that appears on it.
This particular website, however, is not hosted with us, but is using the WordPress software at another hosting provider, Namecheap.com, so we have no control at all over this website, and no information about who created it.
You will need to contact Namecheap directly to request removal of content on any site on their servers, though they’ll likely require a court order before they can do this, as defamation and libel are legal matters, and not something a hosting provider can make a decision over.
