Hi, I can use some help. I have purchased the premium package couple of months ago, but I’m not using it. How can I switch my current blog (roncostello.org) to a premium site?
Thank you and happy holiday.
Ron

Upgrades can be transfered to other blogs
Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades >> Mouse over the upgrade & click on Transfer & follow the directions
It also looks like you have hidden the Footer & Blog at WordPress.com – that is not permitted and your blog can be suspended
-
I’m not sure what you mean by I’ve hidden the footer and blog at wordpress.com – and how do I not hide the footer & blog (how do I un do it)/
-
I could only find a few letters of the footer – that is usually manipulated with CSS changes – I don’t do CSS so I don’t know what changes might have been made
-
I have two blogs:
roncostello.org
and
terryswildlife.wordpress.com
I was trying to eliminate terryswildlife

It looks like http://roncostello.org/ has a bug in the Piano Black Theme and the Infinite scroll and what happens with the footer – maybe the staff has been tinkering – I will flag this for the staff to send a bug report to the themes group if you have not been changing the CSS code
Do you want to delete terryswildlife.wordpress.com?
Most of us in the forum recommend that blogs not be deleted as once the URL is deleted it can never be used again.
You can set it to Private if you don’t want any one to see it
Dshboard >> Settings >> Reading >> Only visible to those I choose

Yes, I want to delete terryswildlife.wordpress.com but that won’t affect my roncostello.org, will it?
No, I have not been changing the CSS purposely. I was trying to make changes to the sizes of the font and may have gone into CSS accidently. I know know enough knowledge to make changes in CSS purposely.

There is a company that pardners with WordPress.COM to make changes – they have a fixed cost per change price structure – sorry forget the name
Most people get help here in the Forum –
there is a special section here that is just for CSS changes – support is done by the staff and some very sharp volunteers
This being Christmas the forum is slow – if you have specific questions – ask them – the more specific you can be the better the odds are you will get accurate help – please put a nice title for the subject line to make it easy for helpers to understand what type of help you need

No extra charge for help from the staff in the CSS forum – part of the cost of the upgrade – they give you the code for you to copy and paste into your CSS box
I will try and remember and do some searching for the company name – also since this has a flag for the staff they should know the name also.

Thank you very much for all of your great help, especially on Christmas morning.
It is greatly appreciated.

Here is my wordpress blog:
roncostello.org (A)
Here is a blog I love:
http://humanrightswarrior.com/ (B)
I love it because of its size and its ability to put on large photos and copy. But how do I get from A to B and make my blog look like B?
I was told by auxclass yesterday that there is a company that works with wordpress but he couldn’t remember its name. Is there anyone there that can remember the company’s name? Thanks.
Or, can help me get from A to B?

How about you change the Theme on roncostello.org (A) to the Yoko Theme? that is the theme used on //humanrightswarrior.com/ (B)
Go to:Dashboard >> Appearance >> Themes >> search for the Yoko theme – you can preview
the theme with the Preview Button or go straight to InstallDIY & save the money
Good luck

Hi Ron – The service is called Tweaky:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/customize-my-site/request-theme-customization/However, as @captnmike says, the site you admire is a WordPress.com site using the Yoko theme, so you can simply change themes to get that look:
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/yoko/The issue with the footer credit was because of a bit of stray HTML in one of your widgets; I’ve fixed that for you.
Let me know if you have further questions!
-
PS – thanks for cleaning up the stray html – they have the CSS upgrade but I guess they did not change things with it –
