  Hi, if I buy premium monthly, am I able to cancel or am i then tied into the full 12 months of payments?

  There aren’t any monthly payment plans at WordPress.com. Upgrades are paid for annually (or for 2 years) in advance. Refunds can be requested only within the first 30 days (48 hours in the case of domains).
