Premium Access & Custom Menu Image

  1) I lost my premium account access!

  2) My custom header image is huge no matter what size I scale it to. It takes over the entire page and looks very pixel-ated! Help please

  I’ve done that, however every picture I set at my Custom Menu – Header Image gets blown up to take over my entire page. I’ve tried resizing, cropping, compressing, and scaling and the images still enlarge.

  It looks like you’ve found a clever solution for this problem. Are you happy with the result, or would you like to add a photo again?

  Based on your description, the problem with the header images before is that they weren’t wide enough. If you add an image that is 1470px wide your results will be better. In case you haven’t seen it there is more information on how to make your theme work here:

  1) thank you, I’ll try loading a wider image with less height to hopefully get a better quality image without taking over my entire page.

  1A) What if I want to add a square image?

  2) I used to have the option to chat with support. Ever since they helped me about 1 month ago I lost the chat support. I looked everywhere on the site to chat with support and cannot find that option. I believe chat support (instant messaging) supposed to be included with my Premium account.

  The best way to do that is to add it as your site logo. It looks like you’ve actually already done this step. Do you have any questions about how it’s working?

  2) I used to have the option to chat with support.

  Because you have paid upgrades you are eligible for chat support when it’s available. (Only subscribers to WordPress.com Business have guaranteed live chat hours.) When live chat is available you can access it by the small blue notice that appears at the bottom right side of your screen. Live chat is also sometimes available via the contact form linked below.
