  I paid for a premium account in January. My initial WP account was set up by a local web host who now wants to charge me for annual web hosting fee. If I have WP premium account why do I need another webhost?

  Hi @chaslahaie240318,

  If you have a Premium Plan with WordPress.com then your site is hosted on WordPress.com’s web servers and you would not need any other host for your site. However, if another web hosting company set you up with your site, then it may be that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com, but with that web host, who is then using WordPress as a platform from WordPress.org.
