Premium account doesnt include domain

    The $99 premium account special does not seem to include domain. Could you explain how adding the domain on within the $99 price can be done? I live in Australia and would like the .com.au

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • I am seeing that you used your WordPress.com Premium upgrade domain credit for acupuncturefix.com.au. Can I assume that you have solved the problem?

    thanks for your assistance. I ended up going the easier path and getting a .com through wordpress.com
    I think the premium offer might need clarification to advise that you need to pay extra for the domain. I was under the impression it was $99 including the domain. thanks all ok now. Allison

  • I was under the impression it was $99 including the domain.

    It does include either registration of a new domain or mapping for an existing domain (an $18 or $13 value respectively). You used the included domain to map acupuncturefix.com.au to your http://acupuncturefix.wordpress.com/ site.

    Please let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.

    Hi again, Thanks for assisting. I did originally put acupuncturefix.com.au in the domain map. But then when I found out that wordpress required .com.au domains to be purchased outside of wordpress.com then I decided I would go with the name acupunctureFix.com

    I don’t own acupunctureFix.com.au though so it is only acupunctureFix.com
    So I have paid for this .com as an extra on top of the $99. Is there anyway I can get a credit?

  • Hi Allison – I’ve removed the mapping upgrade for acupuncturefix.com.au and connected acupuncturefix.com to the Premium upgrade instead, so it will be renewed when you renew the bundle.

    I also issued a $26 refund – it can take 1-2 weeks for a refund to be reflected on your account.
