Premium Account – No option for Thème

    Hi dears,

    i get a Premium account then, i try to upload a theme

    but there’s no options for that under my dashboard

    but i see normally i must have this choice

    could you provide me some help to achieve this task

    Howdy,

    Due to security issues 3rd-party themes are not allowed on WordPress.com. However, you can use them with WordPress.org.

    If you are wondering how WordPress.com differs from WordPress.org, this support article explains the distinction:

    With WordPress.org you have to pay hosting to a company like Bluehost or GoDaddy to host your site.

    Ok thanks answering, i understand the difference between
    .comVsOrg but i didn’t download my themes in the period
    i was in premium account. and now it’s seems have to buy

    by the way i get my own templates
    but i can’t use it

    what i see in premium description is

    Free site!

    A custom domain
    Advanced customization

    Store dozens of videos
    13 GB of space
    No Ads
    Direct Email support

    i see the hosting but by the way that’s working for .org

    The only templates that can be used are the ones provided by WordPress.com. This is for security reasons.

    Though, WordPress has over 200 free themes along with several more “advanced themes” that require a purchase. If you can describe for me the kind of template you want, I could help you find one that might work.

    However, if you wish to use your own templates you would have to use WordPress.org.
