Where are plugins on my premium account? I need to add quite a few plugins but I don’t see this in my wordpress.com hosted site.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress blogs. If you are wondering how WordPress.com differs from WordPress.org, this support article explains the distinction:
WordPress.com has a lot of built-in features that were inspired by popular plugins. Chances are, the feature you are looking for is already there! You can search our support site via this link:
For any features on WordPress.com, the support page will explain how to set it up.

Oh that’s a shame. That will mean it’s not really fit for my purposes I’m afraid. There are a lot of plugins I’ve grown to rely on. Seems like you’ve taken away pretty much the most valuable aspect of WordPress — the vibrant dev community.

You have complete freedom to use plugins on a WordPress self-hosted site. This isn’t a feature that has been removed. Nor will it be.
It sounds like you’d like the greater flexibility of a WordPress.org site, rather than a site hosted at WordPress.com. I’m sure you can understand that we can’t let unvetted, third-party code be added to our servers. This is for our users’ protection, as well as our servers’.
