Premium account wanting to eliminate .wordpress.com.

I started with the free account and as of yesterday got my current website (www.domain.com) to redirect to the free wordpress account making it (www.domain.wordpress.com). I purchased the Premium account this morning hoping it would eliminate the .worpress.com after the domain but it didn’t. What do I need to do to have my website just appear as http://www.domain.com? I purchased my domain through name.com and I currently emailpros.com is making changes to my website DNS/etc. due to us using this for our email and it is linked to our domain (emailpros is a HIPAA compliant email server). What are my next steps? Do I have to pay for mapping or can this be done through making changes with the settings at name.com or emailpros.com?

I already pay name.com for the domain $8 a month to host the 3 sites I own. If I do need to purchase additional mapping with you, is it better to have everything registered through yo has well? I’m trying to cut back costs but I don’t know what I need and what I don’t need. I tried to follow the forums but I’m really confused.

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

Domain mapping is included in the premium upgrade so you won’t have to pay any more to make this work.

You’ve done the first couple steps already, now all you need to do is to point the name servers for your domain to WordPress.com.

Here are the instructions for how to do that for Name.com registered domains:

    http://support.name.com/entries/21253448-How-do-I-change-my-nameservers-

You’ll want to follow those directions and change the nameservers to:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM

    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

Let me know if you have any questions, or need help with that!
