Premium and a Plugin

  We just upgraded our website to Premium through wordpress.com and I am interested in possibly adding some plugins (specifically I’m looking to add a scrolling marque welcome page) and saw that I needed to do that through the WordPress Software. Is it possible to just add a plugin onto our dashboard on wordpress.com?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  We don’t allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org. You can find out more about this topic here: http://support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  So if the plugin is critical for the design of your site, you may need to look into moving to a self hosted site. If that is the case, I can help you with a refund of WordPress.com Premium.
