I have my premium domain set to renew automatically. How can I find out if WordPress has it right? I keep getting emails from them warning me that it’s going to expire.

The domain is https://richerbyfar.com/ and the underlying domain is richerbyfar.wordpress.com. My username is Bill Britton. I don’t remember when the upgrade was purchased – I think it’s been on auto renewal for at least a year though.

I checked richerbyfar.com and the subscription is no longer set for auto renew because the credit card on file has expired.
Also, that particular upgrade is not under your account. You’ll need to log into the account associated with the upgrade in order to renew it.

Hi there,
I’m referring to the card that is under the account associated with the upgrade. Either that card needs to be updated to reset the upgrade for auto-renewal, or the upgrade needs to be transferred to your account.
Do you have access to the other account?

By “other account” do you mean richerbyfar.com? That’s the one I’m trying to fix the renewal on, and the one that the email is asking me about – “WordPress.com Premium for richerbyfar.wordpress.com is about to expire.” I think we’re talking about two different things, but I don’t know why. I have two other wordpress websites: occupyevangelicals.org and downwardmobility.net but as far as I know, they’re not an issue right now. The card that shows on the account page for richerbyfar.com is a good one until 2019. What am I missing?

So, you are currently contacting me from your billbrittonrbf account. The upgrade is not under that account, but rather a different username/account. It appears that you may have another account attached to a different email address. Do you happen to remember creating a different WordPress.com account than the one you are contacting us from?

How can the upgrade for richerbyfar.com be under another account? Are you saying I have to go to one of my other wordpress site managers to update my richerbyfar information?

The domain was originally registered while http://richerbyfar.wordpress.com/ was owned by a different user. But, when the site was moved over to your account, the domain wasn’t moved with. So, you’ll need to either log in or contact the account that created the site in order to access the upgrade.
