  Hello,

  I am looking to set up my website through WordPress and considering the Premium plan. Through this plan, am I able to make sales, send newsletters, have signups for emails, etc. at no additional cost or will I have to purchase extensions to have these features?

  You can send notifications of new posts, or you can use an outside newsletter service:
  https://wordpress.com/support/subscriptions-and-newsletters/

  This would include signups.

  You would not be able to have a full-blown shopping cart, but you would have some monetization options:
