  Hi

  I wish to upgrade to the Premium account for $99 per year.

  I currently have my domain name and several associated email hosted elsewhere.

  I understand the premium includes domain mapping. Does this mean I still need to pay for its hosting where it is hosted now?

  Same question for the email. You refer to several solutions. Will they cost me extra, beyond the premium rate?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Buying an upgrade for a WP.com account is totally independent of hosting a blog elsewhere. You can keep that blog, but if you use the domain name on your blog here, nobody will be able to get to your old blog. You might as well let it go, after exporting the contents.

  Some email solutions cost money, some don’t. Gmail used to be the default, but they changed it so it no longer works with WP.com, alas.
