Premium Package and Theme Selection and Payment

  Hello,
  I am thinking about doing a professional blog to apply for WordAds. At present I have the hemingway theme and I have seen other professional blogs with WordAds using that theme. However from researching the upgrade info I notice that premium upgrades require you to use some specific themes.

  My questions are can I keep my hemingway theme and pay for the premium package and 2) If I pick a premium theme do I have to pay for the cost of the theme and the the $99 premium package fee?

  You can use any free WordPress.com theme with the Premium Plan, there is no restriction. The Premium Themes can also be used, but they cost extra.

  The Business Plan is the only plan which includes the Premium Themes for free.

  Hello again I have another question. From my readings I gather that if one starts off by using the free wordpress option that information can be transferred if one decides to purchase domain, hosting and the premium package. What I would like to know is,
  1) would it be possible for me to just purchase a domain to use with a free theme without purchasing the premium package
  2) and if in the future I would like to purchase the premium package will I have to still do the transfer process or can I just purchase the premium package and continue with what I had started.

  1. Yes, you can start the process of adding the domain via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.

  2. You can just purchase the premium package via the Store section of your blog’s Dashboard. No transfer required.
