I read that the premium plan includes monetizing my site. I want to know more about the monetization and what it entails before I proceed to upgrade
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

All support docs are at https://en.support.wordpress.com/
Search for monetize there https://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=monetize
Results: Monetize Your Site https://en.support.wordpress.com/monetize-your-site/The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains that have enough traffic to qualify for acceptance into the plan.

https://wordads.co/faq/WordPress.com sites have some built in plugins. However, if you are reading anything that makes you think that we bloggers can install advertising, plugins, custom themes or third party themes on sites hosted by wordpress.COM, then you are mistaken/misinformed. We have never had that ability. You are confusing wordpress.COM hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.
Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality. Permalink structure cannot be changed on sites hosted by wordpress.com
For that type of functionality, you’d need a self-hosted WordPress.ORG software install running on a paid web hosting service.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/See: Moving to Self-Hosted WordPress
https://move.wordpress.com/WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

re: purchasing upgrades
WordPress.com provides free blogs and hosts them free of charge. There are no bandwidth charges. All WordPress.com blogs come with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images. Free features are listed here https://en.wordpress.com/features/
We have different plans: free, personal, premium and business. All hosting is free regardless of which plan you choose. You can view all wp plan features here https://wordpress.com/pricing/ Add a plan for your site here: http://store.wordpress.com/plans/.
There are no monthly payment plans and no bulk deal upgrades. We are billed annually. Also note that purchase orders are not accepted. We must pay for all upgrades in full at the time of purchase.
Make sure you read the comparison very closely do you know exactly what the restrictions and limitations on WordPress.COM blogging are: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Read sure to read Important Notes Before Upgrading http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#important-notes-before-upgrading
WordPress.com does not provide an email service for blogs on their sub domains or on custom domains. Please see these support docs
https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/What domain mapping does is providing a seamless redirect to the very same content under the new domain URL when a person clicks the old URL to the original content. It can take up to 72 hours for domain propagation to take place throughout the internet but it doesn’t usually take that long. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and purchase upgrades at > Dashboard> Store > My Upgrades
https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/Your billing history will be at Dashboard > Store > Billing History
https://en.support.wordpress.com/billing-history/Your only options for payment are found here Payment Methods http://en.support.wordpress.com/payment/
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

I have a few specific questions related to this topic.
I’m considering purchasing premium plan, but there are things I can’t do without, and that is an ability to upload themes that can no longer be found anywhere, that I have customized myself. Is it a possibility in the premium?
Also, can I have three domains and three sites under this plan? Thanks. And if not, why not? :(

No.
Also, can I have three domains and three sites under this plan?
No. Upgrades apply to a single site only.

Too bad.. really bad. If WP teamed up or created real hosting, it would be a real progress. Choosing hosting is all about trust and credibility, things WP already has.
Maybe one day? -

My second question is how do I get paid after generating all the traffic and impressions through word ads. Is it via Western union or money gram or something else?

If you do not find that information here https://wordads.co/faq/ or elsewhere on the WordAds site https://wordads.co/ then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. No not because of WordPress.org, because of the need for a trustworthy good hosting solution combined with the WordPress platform.
