  If I upgrade to Premium, can I import email addresses? Also is a subscriber given the option to unsubscribe?

  Hi @jimtheauthor, we don’t have a way to import subscriptions unless they were previously added through Jetpack or WordPress.com’s subscription module, though you can invite subscribers to your site if you’d like.

  With our subscription tool, users have to click a link in their email to confirm the subscription, and then they also have an option to opt out in each email. We have more info here:

  Also, if you have an existing newsletter through Mailchimp, you’d be welcome to keep using that:
