    Hi,
Currently, I have a FREE plan at wordpress. I plan to buy the personal $3/mo plan for one month to test my website. Is it possible to then de-activate the $3 plan and revert back to the FREE one?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • WordPress.com plans have a 30 day refund window, so yes, you would be able to do that.

However, please keep in mind that domain registration only has a 48 hour refund window. So if you were to purchase a plan and use the included domain registration credit, and then cancel 30 days later, you would receive a refund of the plan price minus the domain registration cost.

Hi staff-ozmodiar. Thank you for responding.
I already have my domain name purchased from somewhere else. I plan to map it in WordPress and not buy a domain name from WordPress for now.
So, going by your answer, it’s safe in my case to try the $3 plan for 30 days while being able to completely refund as well.

    Regards,
    Saurabh

  • Hi @saurabhnavya, all plans are billed yearly. So while it would work out to be $3/month, you would pay the full year. Then you could also refund the whole year if needed, if you cancel within 30 days.
