Premium Plan feature: 'Email & Live Chat Support '
-
Your Premium Plan lists ‘Email & Live Chat Support ‘ as a feature, but that doesn’t appear to be an available feature. Am I wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Live chat support is only available to the username that owns the Premium Plan. In the case of the site, huuc.org, the Premium Plan is owned by the username lizwoedl, so only the person logged in as that account has access to live chat.
On Business Plan sites all admins can access live chat, but on Premium and Personal plan sites that is only available to the upgrade owner.
-
I have the Premium Plan with 2 blogs yet I cannot for the life of me find a link to live chat. I’m really frustrated as I’ve had chat before.
Thanks -
You can access live chat support from here:
https://wordpress.com/help/contact
However, Live Chat Support is closed at the moment so you will only see an email or forums option on that page. Live chat will only be available again on 26 September.
You are welcome to tell me what you’re trying to do and then I can help you here for now.

I want to let readers of the first blog to know about (and read) the second one. Thanks!! I’ve been trying to figure it out for weeks.

All support docs are at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/
Option 1
See the guide for creating links in posts and pages: http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/This is the general link model:
Highlighted anchor text hereThis is the visual result – it’s not actually linked here in the forum.
Highlighted anchor text here1. Enter the relevant descriptive anchor text you want to link to first. Note that “here” is not a good choice. Use relevant anchor text to link to.
2. Then use your mouse to highlight that anchor text. (If you don’t highlight the anchor text the chain icon will remain grayed out and not be useable.)
3. Next, click the chain icon in the editor and proceed to create the link.
4. Create a custom menu on one site and add the custom link to the other site into it:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#1-create-a-custom-menu
https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/view-all/#adding-custom-linksOption 2
For creating links in a text widget see:

Thx timethief. Pls bear with me to see if Ive got this straight.
If I go with Otion 1 I would be creating a link so to speak When I was done it would for example say ” Follow My Cooking Blog”.If I chose Option 2 I would be creating a widget. Again using the cooking theme I’d have a picture of a casserole dish plus text to say Please follow my cooking blog.
Do I have that correct?
Thanks! -
Both options will be a link, the difference is for option 1 you add it inside a post or page. If you want it visible in your sidebar, you need to use a text widget as in option 2 that @timethief gave you.

Independent Publisher supports one widget area on the left side of the theme. https://wordpress.com/themes/independent-publisher/

timethief, in your opinion is it better to ad it to each post or in sidebar? For visibility purposes?
Thank you so much.. -

Ok I appreciate your honesty as I really am a novice but the blog I want to create a widget, link etc for IS the more important one.
I think your idea of both is actually a great idea.
I’ll give it a whirl tonight. Thanks again ! -
