Premium Plan options for CSS for Landing Pages
-
With a Premium plan, are you able to create more than one landing page by customizing the CSS of separate pages using the page id#? I have read a couple answers to other landing page questions, and I want to know ahead of time if I will be able to affect more than just my static front page with CSS so that I can have multiple landing pages in development.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, you could create different landing pages as static pages, and they can be styled uniquely by utilizing the unique page id CSS class set for each individual page in the opening body HTML tag in the page source.
Can you explain a bit more how you are wanting to use these? Your site can only have one official “home” page and there isn’t really a way direct visitors to different landing pages other than through incoming links that you would set elsewhere.

Sweet, thanks. Yeah, I was planning to use different designs to draw visitors to content. I would be linking through social media. I hope that isn’t against the ToS. I would probably only want to use one at a time, but maybe not if I was running different campaigns. I know this is vague, but I am in preproduction. I used to have a rainmaker site through Copyblogger. It was awesome but became cost prohibitive. I might be ready to jump into a self hosted site, but it seems iffy to me as well. I would like to host a forum and have as many landing pages as I want and sell whatever I want so I probably should take a leap. I just don’t want to spend a lot on hosting.

Linking from social media would work. You may want to contact our ToS people and explain what you are doing, and what you will be doing just to make sure. You can use our contact form and just type in your question and then click the “get in touch with support” button near the bottom of that page.
Self-hosting your own WordPress installation is also an option, and of course you are pretty much free to do anything you want on those (subject to the webhost terms of service). You can of course also use plugins and such and do things like Lead Pages.

Do you self host any sites? I see you are a happiness engineer. What are you into? Maybe we should connect. I appreciate your response and I am always looking for connections. It’s probably frowned on, but I would check your site out. I will see if you have a link.
