Premium Plan Purchase

    HI I have bought a premium plan recently and started to build a cover page – whist doing so I seem to have lost the log in and now when I do it says I have not bought anything – I think I screwed up my log in details: the site was clgarchitecture and I am trying to link it to my clgarchitecture.uk domain which is run by easyspace. can you tell me whether I have set up two accounts or what has happened?

    Hi there, it’s easy to confuse WordPressdotcom and WordPress but they are two entirely separate entities. More about that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you are trying to log in to your easyspace hosted WordPress website, that is where you would log in. You would only need a WordPressdotcom account if you are connecting the jetpack plugin to your easyspace WordPress website.

    If that isn’t what you are trying to do, please let us know more details.

    Hi there,

    The domain you indicate here is mapped to a WordPress.com site that belongs to the username, dieselfox007, so it looks like you’re indeed logged into the wrong account.

    Log out of this account and log back in as dieselfox007, and you should have full access to your site.

    @kokkieh- That’s interesting. I used EuroDNS to look up clgarchitecture.uk and the nameservers seem to be pointing elsewhere (namecity) and not to WordPressdotcom. The site is also using the open source WordPress software. ?

    @justjennifer – That domain is indeed pointing elsewhere. Judging by the name servers and the domain’s registrar they have just mapped it to a WordPress.com site and haven’t configured their DNS yet.

    namecity.com is the default name server for a domain registered through Easyspace ;)
