  if i add a premium plan, will i lose any of the entries on my current site? will i be able to add the instagram plug in? can i make my “letters” page live – as in: can i add individual posts to be listed under the header of “letters” rather than just editing to add a new entry under “letters”? can i link to an ecommerce site such as zazzle or theprintful.com? lots of questions – thanks in advance for your answers!!

  Hi there. Upgrading does not affect your content or widgets in any way. The Premium plan includes a custom domain, space upgrade, Ads Free upgrade, VideoPress and Custom Design. Nothing else: https://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/

  You cannot install plugins on WordPress.com. There is no upgrade that changes this: http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  Why don’t you just publish posts under the category “Letters” and then create a category page that will show all those posts? Then it will update automatically with each new post you publish in that category. You can do this with a free blog:

  As long as you stick to the rules regarding advertising and affiliate links, you’re allowed to do this with a free site as well.
