Premium Plan – want a refund, but ineligible
-
I activated and paid for a WordPress.com Premium Plan 11 days ago. I want to cancel the plan and get a refund. The system only offers me to “remove” and not cancel the plan. It should be eligible as it’s not been 14 days yet.

Hi there:
Since you registered a domain (ruskaplava.com) when you purchased the plan, you are no longer eligible for a full refund. New domain registrations must be canceled within 96 hours to receive a full refund. You can learn more about our refund policy here:
https://wordpress.com/support/refunds/
You can get a refund for the plan price minus the domain registration cost ($96 – $18 = $78) but we would need to process that for you. Otherwise, you can keep the plan in place if you choose.
Let us know which way you want to proceed.

Sure thing. I have processed a $78 refund. It can take up to 2 weeks for your bank to put that money back in to your account. If you experience a delay, please reach out to them and inquire directly there. We don’t have any insights as to when the funds will be released to you.
If you go to https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/ you should only see the domain registration and not the hosting plan.
