  Whats the difference on cost to switch everything over from Godaddy or just redirect dns?

  Hosting is included in all plans (free and paid) on WordPress.com so that wouldn’t be something you need to purchase separately.

  Custom domains are a feature of paid plans. Each one includes a domain credit which can be used to map (by changing the DNS) or transfer an existing domain to WordPress.com.
