Premium plans charge in local currencies

When are you guys offering those premium plans in local currencies? I’d love to sign up for one of them but I can’t really shell out $99 in an yearly plan, what with currency exchange rates and other taxes. Thanks!

Hi there,
We support several currencies, but paying in your own currency won’t mean the plan is any cheaper. For example, if your currency is weaker than the US$, you won’t pay 99 in whatever currency you’re using, but the equivalent value of $99US in your currency.
The currency shown for you is determined by the IP address you were using when you signed up for your account. If that currency is not correct, please let me know your correct currency and I’d be happy to update that for you.

I’m from Brazil, so I’d have liked to see those premium plans prices in Brazilian reais (which, yes, is weaker than the US dollar).

I’m aware of that, but like I said, there are other charges due when you make an international purchase. IOF (imposto sobre operação financeira), for instance. And, also, when you convert from any currency to reais, you’ll invariably get the most expensive exchange rate because that’s what credit card companies do.

We have several Brazilian staff members, so we’re aware of this, but we do not currently have the ability to accept payment in that currency, I’m afraid.
And I live in South Africa where 1 USD is currently over 14 South African Rand, so I really do understand your frustration in this :)
