Premium price false advertisement

    I am very frustrated with the company’s false advertisement. I selected ‘get started’ under the ‘premium’ pakage at $8.25 per month. When I went through the trouble to create an account, I saw that the package that I had selected is not what was given to me. Instead, it was the free package which included ‘wordpress.com’ as part of the domain name. When I attempted to upgrade to the premium package that I had originally selected, the website listed a higher price of aproximately $12.99 per month. This is wrong in two ways. One, the site prevented me from choosing the package that I wanted, and unknown to me until I had already created an account, forced the option to default to the free package. Two, the company falsely advertised a premium package for $8.25, and then increased the fee by about $4 when I attempted to upgrade. I chose the company because it was recommended to me by a peer. Now not only am I questioning the integrity of the company’s practices, but am considering reporting it to consumer affairs and the better business bureau. I need this issue resolved IMMEDIATELY! I request to pay only for the price of the package premium that was initially advertised. I will report it if the company does not make good on its advertisement. Also, it is EXTREMELY frustrating to not have live chat or any kind of phone help for problems like this without first having to create an account, or having to read through the long list of forums that don’t even apply to this problem. It makes me worry that I will not receive the proper support after I have paid for the website. I am attempting to start a business, and this problem has made this first step very difficult for me. Please someone provide infor for resolving this.

    Sorry about that. It sounds like there might have been a glitch in the signup process.

    Can you please let me know on which of your sites you want the Premium Plan added? Then I can add it for you for free for the first month so you can decide if you need it, before you’ll need to pay.

    Please note, though, that the cost is $8.25 a month, billed yearly, so the payment will be $99 for a full year in advance. We don’t currently have a monthly payment option.
