Premium purchases via OVO

    Hello, I’m Ferdy from Indonesia. I want to consult about the transaction that I have done with WordPress.com/Jetpack via the OVO application.

    On May 15, 2020, around 5 pm o’clock, I made a payment via OVO to WordPress.com/Jetpack to upgrade my website (masalewatgarut.home.blog) to a premium. Payment was successful, it can be seen writing on my OVO account or on the website.

    However, when I waited for a while, there were no changes on my website. I checked the payment history on my website and there were no recorded premium purchase transactions. When I contacted the OVO, they recorded a successful transaction. Then they suggested that I contact the Automattic merchant.

    Therefore I ask your help to Automattic. Is there a problem in my transaction?

    I can see several payment attempts for your account, but they all show as failed and/or pending on our end.

    It looks like we’ve had a few failed transactions like this from Indonesia, and your payments team are looking into it. I’ll let you know as soon as we have some more information on this.

    Thank you @kokkieh for your help. I have been charged for my premium upgrade transaction. Please immediately give me the latest information.

  • Okay, our payments team has checked into this, and the payments were cancelled from the payment processor’s end when they didn’t go through. If it still shows that you’ve been charged on OVO’s end, they might still be processing the cancellation, so please contact their support directly to ask about this.

    Halo @kokkieh some time ago I have confirmed the OVO. They asked for “official proof of transaction cancellation from WordPress Jetpack”. Can you share the evidence with me? Thanks!
