PREMIUM REFUND

I bought and cancelled my premium upgrade in the same day and yet I still have not gotten my refund even though it has been many days and nights longer than the expected time period stated in your guidelines. It is quite a lot of money and I should have received all of it by now. I am becoming a bit upset, especially since I have always read and heard such positive things about WordPress. Please return my money immediately, as – like I said – the refund is already long overdue.

I really appreciate you tagging it that way! I did not know that could be done. But also, I am sad to say that I have already checked with my bank, and they saw no activity regarding the refund, and that was days ago (which was still at the end of the 7-10 days); 10 days, to be more specific. I just hope to get my money back, as I only used the upgrade for about 10 minutes before cancelling instead.

I’ve checked your account and a refund was successfully sent from our side on 7th May 2019. There is a copy of the refund receipt in your Billing History if you need it:

I only used the upgrade for about 10 minutes before cancelling instead.
In some cases where upgrades are cancelled and refunded on the same day (which happened this time), banks remove the original payment from your statement rather than showing two separate debit and credit amounts. Would you be able to ask your bank whether they have done so? You can give them the transaction ID from the refund receipt — but please don’t share that information in this thread.

Thank you to everyone who is giving advice. Also, I will check with my bank about the same day removal from my account. I did not realise they do that sometimes. Thank you again. If I have more questions, I will post them here. And do not worry, I will never give out any sensitive info on this (or any) forum post :)
