Premium Theme

  I am trying to buy a premium theme and it’s not letting me do so. I already have a blog up and running with a custom domain that is hosted through wordpress, (www.catwatson.com) and I want to buy the premium theme “anthem” to use on my current blog. I created the wordpress.com account because I thought I had to to buy the theme, but even that is not working.

  You can purchase Anthem here from the author. Your website is a self-hosted WordPress.ORG site and themes purchased here can only be used on WordPress.COM.

  @ceo thank you SO much! I was just thinking I’d buy it and figure out how to get it over to my self hosted wordpress site…thank you! you saved me 68 bucks:)

  Thanks for reporting the WordPress.com issue about not being able to purchase a premium theme. We’ve fixed that up, so if you’d like to try the purchase again now you can.

  Regarding the 68 bucks, keep in mind WordPress.com does not charge monthly hosting fees like you need to pay when you setup self-hosting. That said, both are excellent choices, just different.
