Premium theme

  I bought a premium theme but now I decide I’m going to install optin monster in my server. Can I download or import the theme to use it on my server?

  You cannot use any theme from https://wordpress.com/themes/ which is licensed and adapted to run on WordPress.COM software to a WordPress.ORG site. Please read what’s suggested ie. contact the theme developer for a version that will run on wordpress.ORG software here : Premium themes https://en.support.wordpress.com/premium-themes/

  re: Refunds
  WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 10 business days for the refund to be received.

  I apologize for the awkward wording in the first sentence above and hope you understand what I posted anyway. WordPress.COM themes cannot be run on WordPress.ORG software and visa versa also applies.

  re: Canceling upgrades
  Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

  You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

  Hi @fedecook,

  As @timethief mentioned, it is not possible to use a theme purchased on WordPress.com, for a self hosted WordPress.org site.

  From looking at your account I see you no longer have a premium theme and have been refunded for the amount. Refunds usually take about a week to process and show up on your statement.
