Premium Theme

  Hi,

  I have purchased a premium theme and am following a tutorial on youtube to upload it. On the video the person has a button they can click on to add theme but I don’t. Do you know why this is?

  Where did you purchase this “Premium theme”? Here at WordPress.com or elsewhere? Where is your site hosted? Here at WordPress.com or at GoDaddy? If your site is here at WordPress.com did you upgrade to a Business plan as explained in your earlier thread? If your site is hosted at GoDaddy you’ll need to ask for help in the correct .org forum.

  Hi,

  The theme was purchased from http://www.premiumpress.com/wordpress-coupon-theme/

  The site is hosted at Go daddy but linked to WordPress. Ok so if I upgrade to the business plan then I should be able to see it?

  Could you reveal the address of your site. A WordPress.com Business plan is only required if your site is actually hosted here at WordPress.com. If your unnamed site is definitely hosted at GoDaddy then it should be using the WordPress.org software and you should be able to easily upload your new theme to that site.

  Will I need the wordpress business plan?

  I have pointed it towards the wordpress link but am not sure how I can get it to display just http://www.holidayvouchercodes.co.uk

  You aren’t really doing things the correct way. That domain is hosted at GoDaddy. One option would be to build a site at GoDaddy and then you could use your theme and .co.uk domain there.
  The other option is to buy a Business plan here at WordPress.com, leave the domain at GoDaddy but map it to the WordPress.com Business plan site. Then you could use your theme.

  As it is you are just pointing/masking your .co.uk domain to the free WordPress.com site. Free sites can’t use external themes. Your correct domain address will never display in browsers and you won’t be able to use your “coupon” theme at all.
